In this era, Selfie is one of the trends that influence and
conquer every human being's life. There are lot of Selfies; it may be a Selfie
of your meal for that day, your pet, your new clothes, haircut, or anything
under the sun that is new for the eyes.
Even Selfies become part of our lives in present day,
nevertheless man could never ever forget his past. That's why throwback
Thursday and flasback Friday was born, wherein someone reminisces their past
life using photographs. That most often than not are taken using cameras that
need films with limited shots(12, 24,36, 48) to be able to capture someone's
most precious moment.
Today, as tablets, android phones, and photo enhancers applications invade us. Everyone now can make his or her self-portrait in an instant. The fun-part of making Selfies is that one can make faces. They can have happy, sad, or wacky poses that friends, families, loved ones or by your own can cherished and shared upon.
I also consider myself a Selfie captor. I believe that we
don't need a bill that prohibits someone from taking photographs. I hoped that
those bill authors be enlightened by the fact that there are other problems to
focus on. Right?
It was one of the cheapest way we can indulge ourselves when
there's free time and be a narcissist at some point of in our lives. But,
being a Selfie captor, requires open-mindedness and limitations. Every captor
must be responsible on what consequences they might face by their photographs.
As long as it doesn't violate someone's privacy. Feel free
to take pictures of beautiful things.
As long as it doesn't contain malicious message particularly
for stolen photographs. Feel free to click the camera.
As long as it doesn't disturb someone from doing his work, chores,
and duties. Feel free to "say cheese".
As long as you ask permission upon capturing someone or
something. Feel free to be a frustrated photographer. :)
Isn't it amazing? That after a day with negative vibes from
your boss, a basher or a gossiper, we can still smile and click for a moment.
Isn't it cool? Even if we are stressed out by news about
crimes and violence on our televisions, we can still smile and click for a
moment.
Isn't it beautiful? Even if we are disheartened by
calamities in every parts of the country, we can still smile and click for a moment.
That is one thing I'd love about Filipinos, smiling and
optimists by mind, by actions, and most of all, by heart. so SMILE! CLICK!
